Two Trees

Two Trees — original oil landscape painting inspired by Powell Butte Nature Park, with two trees, wildflowers, and potentially storm clouds

Two Trees · Oil on canvas · 12” x 9” · 2026

One of two smaller paintings based on photographs from Powell Butte Nature Park. The two trees represent my wife and me, standing together before a landscape of flowers and gathering clouds—a simple reflection on facing both the beauty and difficulty of life side by side.
